Microsoft Azure is a platform as a service (PaaS) solution for building and hosting solutions using Microsoft's products and in their data centers. It is a comprehensive suite of cloud products that allow users to create enterprise-class applications without having to build out their own infrastructure.
The need for people who can administer is driven by the robust growth of cloud computing in general and by the success of Microsoft Azure. The MSSA program is free of charge to qualifying veterans. It consists of 17 weeks weeks of training, plus heavy support for placement into a job with one of 600 hiring partners.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a secure cloud services platform, offering computing power, database storage, content delivery and other functionality to help businesses scale and grow. Many thousands of businesses use AWS to serve millions of customers that currently leverage AWS products and solutions to build sophisticated applications with increased flexibility, scalability and reliability.
Amazon has pledged to offer 10,000 service members, transitioning veterans, and military spouses over $7m in Amazon Web Services (AWS) trainings. This pledge is part of Joining Forces, the First Lady and Dr. Jill Biden’s initiative that works hand in hand with the public and private sectors to ensure that service members, veterans, and their families have the tools they need to succeed throughout their lives. By offering cloud computing training, we are excited to help veterans transition more easily into the civilian workforce and help develop the skills necessary to pursue jobs in the high-demand cloud computing space.

Veterans2Work's Salesforce Career Launch program has supported more than 100 veterans without prior knowledge, into sustainable careers as Salesforce Administrators and Developers, showing that anyone with the right aptitude can access and launch a lucrative career.
We hope to be able to offer this program again soon, depending on funding.

Vets2Cloud provides hands-on experience for those ready to apply their learning in a real world environment. Students contribute to client projects and are supported in their learning by program alumni.
